A beautiful work originally for Bass and Piano, where an expressive bass line floats over a propulsive, rhythmic piano. It has also been transcribed for cello and piano and oboe and piano. It can be heard here in live performances, one at UT Austin by Joel Braun and Alexandre Maynegre-Torra, and the other a concert by the Long Island Composer’s Alliance (we are trying to identify the performers)..
